My husband and I usually stay at extravagant resorts when we travel but wanted to search for something more budget friendly for my sister and her kids to travel with us: sunshine suites is a great resort and value for your money with all the perks of their sister property, the Westin.
Sunshine suites has the sunshine grill on site- we had breakfast there a couple times and the food was always perfect. My husband and I discussed how the walk was minimal compared to some of the massive resorts we have stayed at in Mexico where we walked for 10+ minutes before getting to the beach. The sunshine suites is less than a minute drive by car to the Westin and probably a 5 minute walk. There is a mini mart close by, restaurants, liquor stores and Captain Marvin’s tours and adventures which we used for sting ray city and snorkeling- an absolute must. Sunshine suites gives you the best of it all because you get to save money by staying at this medium valued resort but get all the perks at their sister property at the Westin, which has direct beach access.
